TMK Has Introduced a New Gas Roller Furnace at PNTZ

Pervouralsky Novotrubny Plant (PNTZ), part of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK), a Metal-Expo regular exhibitor, has commissioned a new gas roller furnace in one of the pipe-making workshops. This is stated in the message of TMK.

Modernization will expand the product range and increase economic efficiency. The equipment is being updated as part of a large-scale project that has been implemented at the enterprise since 2021.

This furnace is designed for processing general-purpose pipes, as well as specialized ones. It can withstand pipes made of carbon and low-alloy steel grades in a protective atmosphere at temperatures from 500 to 980 degrees to achieve the desired mechanical characteristics.

Processing allows you to provide the necessary properties of pipes, improve the presentation of products. It also makes it possible to save energy resources and consumables and reduce the number of technological operations.

TMK is a global supplier of steel pipes, pipe solutions and related services for the oil and gas sector. The largest share in TMK's sales structure is occupied by threaded oil and gas pipes. The company also supplies special pipes and pipeline systems for nuclear power, products for the chemical industry, mechanical engineering, construction and other industries.

TMK's revenue under IFRS in the first half of 2022 amounted to RUB 300.8 billion. Adjusted EBITDA reached 52.6 billion rubles, adjusted EBITDA margin was 17.5%.
